Sarah G. Poormon, Esq.

Sarah is a dedicated lawyer, wife, mother, and sister. She is a Colorado native and is happy to call it home.

Sarah brings over 30 years of legal experience to Poormon Road Law, specializing in traffic defense across four states: Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Utah, and Wyoming. Clients describe her as empathetic and compassionate, traits that define her practice. She is committed to her clients and will never abandon them in their time of need, providing personalized legal representation to drivers, especially truckers, facing unique challenges.

She received her law degree from Creighton University Law School in 1994, following a BA in Religious Studies and Sociology from Regis College in Denver in 1991.

Her career began in the Public Defender’s Office but soon transitioned to managing attorneys while continuing to develop her robust criminal/traffic defense practice.

Outside the office, Sarah is an avid runner and the family's first choice for an emergency contact. She loves walking her dog, spending time with her daughter, listening to music, and making a mean grilled cheese sandwich.

Richard P. Poormon, Esq.

Richard is a dedicated attorney, father, grandfather, and dog parent.

Originally from the Finger Lakes area of New York, he has been happily living in Colorado for over 25 years.

Richard brings over 40 years of experience in law, primarily focusing on auto crash litigation. Richard specializes in traffic defense across three states: Colorado, Idaho, and Oklahoma. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Albany Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from St. Lawrence University.

His extensive career has included leadership roles as a Partner at Poormon Road Law and Peters Poormon LLC, as well as being a Partner and Managing Partner at Riggs, Abney (Denver Office) and Associate at Lang and James Associates.

Clients rely on Richard for his honest, clear, and determined approach. He believes strongly in transparency and will always be straightforward about a legal situation, even if it means the client ultimately decides not to hire him. His focus is on finding a solution, ensuring clients seek maximum compensation for injuries and damages resulting from an auto accident.

He understands the complexities of determining fault and liability and guides clients through the legal process with expertise.

Outside the office, Richard is the family grill master and makes a highly requested pancake for his loving family members. He enjoys attending any live music event, including City Park Jazz in the summers, golfing, and driving over leaves to make them easier for the street sweepers to pick up.
